To mark the first time I have moved my physical address in fifteen years, I'm starting this blog about my attempts to meld the world of tango dancing and contemporary collaborative software development. I am heartened to realize that I am not alone in perceiving the metaphysical juiciness that live at their intersection. Tango dancing is innately creative, being an improvised dance for the leader, and being an experience of connection, surprise and flow for the follower. Collaborative software development offers flow experiences of creativity and shared goals and intentions mixed with explosions of frustration when elusive bugs and/or communication breakdowns slam us against our limits of awareness and insight. For both domains, the height of experience is to enter the sensation of oneness - with one's partner(s) in creation, with the dance/music or software development environment that contain our adventures in union.
On top of that, with tango dancing, the man-woman juiciness of the sexual polarization energy in the dance beckons me into mindfully exploring the incandescent arena of our male-female divine archetypes alive together in every moment of the dance.
